Business-friendly
The City of Colorado Springs is a business-friendly municipal government. The Economic Development division wants to help new businesses relocate here and existing businesses stay in business and expand. For a business license, the City Clerk's Office can help. For a contractor's licenses, the Development Review Enterprise can help. The Revenue and Collections Division can further help local businesses determine their City sales and use taxes.

Those who want to do business with the City can view our Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or sign up for CityWire to receive RFP announcements automatically. The City's Procurement Services division awards over 450 contracts and 4,300 purchase orders totaling over $196,000,000 annually.
